My undergraduate programme; I perform hands-on research on topics related to smart environments including sensor networks, middleware, machine learning algorithms, and automation algorithms, and investigate applications of smart environments to health monitoring and energy conservation. ADMINISTRATIVE AND MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE

As pioneer System Analyst/Programmer and later Head, VSAT/Computer Unit

      (MOUA, Umudike) (2005 to March 2015):

·Initiated computerization of the young University.  This led to the establishment of the University Computer Unit and provision of computers for use in various Units/Departments/Colleges.  A Local Area Network (LAN) was set up in the Computer Unit for computer training and practical for students.

·Organized computer awareness and regular intensive computer training for all principal officers, Deans and Directors, Heads of Department, academic and senior administrative staff and secretaries.  This enhanced the level of computer literacy and use in the University.

·         Initiated the computerization of the University’s payroll system, which is currently in use.

·         Established a functional e-mail (fuau.edu.ng now mouau.edu.ng) and gave staff individual addresses for mail.

·         Initiated computer networking for internet connectivity for the University.
