2010: All hands must be on deck

Welcome to 2010. This is a very crucial year for MOUAU. It is so because: one, goals have been set; two, adequate plans have been made to realize the goals and three, there is a determination to succeed. There seem to be no time to waste because a lot of catching-up would be attempted, given the time lost to national strike in 2009.

The University Management, under the Vice-Chancellor,  Prof. Ikenna Onyido, would try to consolidate on its achievement so far and leave enduring legacies for the University. Very particular attention is now being paid to physical development, and hopefully, we would soon see the results.

So in every aspect of our business here, all hands must be on deck to realize institutional set goals. If yours is to teach, teach; if it is to provide one form of service or another, do so and ensure you earn your pay.

As we work hard and pray, we'll not have any space and time for detractors and distractions.

Happy New Year.
