The attention of the Vice -Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike,Prof. Francis Ogbonnaya Otunta has been drawn to the activities of one unscrupulous element that has been impersonating him on various social media platforms, with a fake Facebook and Whatsapp account.
This jobless impostor has been operating both Facebook and WhatsApp accounts from which he has maintained interactions with different persons, including staff and students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
The general public and particularly staff and students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike should please take note that Prof. Otunta operates no Facebook account and has never operated any such account but has only a functional phone number.Thus, any Facebook request or chat from any person purporting to have come from him should be seen as having emanated from mischief makers and fraudsters. Also, any WhatsApp chat or phone call from this phone number, 09049779033 or any other number, other than Prof. Otunta’s known phone number should be discountenanced for having emanated from this impersonator.
This matter has been reported to the law enforcement agencies for appropriate actions.
