MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE UMUDIKE 2026/2027 ADMISSION SCREENING APPLICATION GUIDELINES

This is to inform all prospective candidates that the admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) is now open.

Eligibility:
All candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026/2027 UTME examinations and made the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) First (1ST) choice are eligible. Candidates who applied to other Universities could change to MOUAU as the First (1st) choice at JAMB Portal and then apply accordingly. Applicants who wish to change to MOUAU should visit the link https://mouau.edu.ng/academic-department-by-faculty/ to view the courses offered by MOUAU before proceeding to apply.

Requirements:
Beginning on 6th of June 2026, candidates are required to register online for the admission screening exercise. To register, candidates must proceed as follows:

  1. Candidates are to visit the University Website at www.mouau.edu.ng
  2. Click on the 2026/2027 Admission Screening banner
  3. Click on the Buttons Below
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
  5. Enter a valid email address and valid Phone number of the Candidate or guardian for records and Contact purposes.
  6. This leads you to the Remita Payment Platform (RRR) where an RRR number is generated with which payment of N2000.00 will be made. Payment can be made by debit/credit card or by taking your RRR number to any bank nationwide and depositing cash.
  7. Transaction charge(s) apply please: If you encounter any challenge(s) after payment, kindly send an email to the University Portal Office at portal@mouau.edu.ng
  8. After payment kindly click on the link below to validate your payment https://portal.mouau.edu.ng/remita/query-remita/ and then after validation click on this link below to proceed with the registration process https://portal.mouau.edu.ng/registration/putme/jamb-no-verification
  9. Register by filling out an online Application form and selecting the proposed Department and provide other required details. Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed
  10. All candidates should upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results to any Accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
  11. Kindly note that O’Level results and number of sittings are weighted.
  12. The O’level Field has been disabled on the university website as such candidates are advised to upload their O’level result in a Verified JAMB CBT Centre. The University downloads your O’level from the Jamb CAPS and uploads it on their portal.

    However if you have uploaded your O’level result in a JAMB CBT Centre, in the course of your registration at the 4th section of your PUTME Registration the “Fetch Result(s)” section kindly click on the “VIEW VERIFIED RESULT” to view your result.

    If uploaded, kindly verify and then proceed to complete your registration.

    Furthermore, ensure that all fields are properly filled before you submit your form. Candidates awaiting 2026 WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results are advised not to register till these results are available. As soon as the results are out, they are expected to register for screening

  13. Kindly note that the University is not liable for any wrong information entered by the candidates
  14. Candidates are advised to check the University portal for their screening test results periodically after registration
