CURRICULUM VITAE
BRIEF PROFILE: Dr Mrs Nkeiruka Charity Mbanasor (nee onwukwe) is the current Registrar of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. She started her administrative career in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike on 2nd October, 1995. She rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Registrar on 1st October, 2012. On 1st February, 2021, She was appointed to the position of Director of academic affairs in the Registry. She holds B.Sc (Hons) (1994) with Second Class Upper Division from University of Maiduguri, MPA (2005) Unical, M.Sc in Human Resource Management (2014) and Ph.D. in Management (2021) MOUAU. She has held positions such as Head of Personnel Affairs / Human Resources, Head of Senate Affairs, College Officer in various Colleges, Deputy Registrar/Head of Admissions, Exams/Records and Students’ Academic Matters Units. She belongs to the following professional bodies: Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA – former Chairman of ANUPA MOUAU branch), Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administrators, Fellow, Institute of Policy Management Development, Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Member, Nigerian Institute of Manpower Development and Industrial Relations. She is currently Vice President, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike Women Association (MOUAUWA), Assistant Director, The Master’s Vessel Ministry Women Fellowship. She was Deputy Registrar (Central Registry) on Sabbatical with Alex-Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu, Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) from 2019-2020. She served as Secretary to various University Committees and Panels. She has received various commendations and awards both within the University System and outside the University system. She was further commended and honoured as the most conscientious and silent worker in the Registry. She has attended various capacity building conferences and workshop locally and internationally. Some of her papers are published in both local and international Journals and Proceedings. Dr(Mrs) Nkeiruka Charity Mbanasor is happily married to Professor Jude Anayochukwu Mbanasor from Umuowa, Orlu in Imo State and the marriage is blessed with four (4) children, three boys and one girl. Her state of origin is Umuana, Mbom Ibeku, in Umuahia, Abia State.
